Volunteer Event - The Family Place

We are continuing our partnership with The Family Place, a daytime homeless shelter in downtown St. Paul. Despite its location, the Family Place is a completely secular 501 (c)(3).

The meal and necessary ingredients will be posted in the comments section approximately two weeks before the event. Please comment with ingredients you will bring and keep your RSVP up to date!

Dinner preparations begin in the shelter’s commercial kitchen at 3:00 pm and we dine with the families and staff from 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm. After the kitchen is cleaned we head to one of the many nearby establishments for drinks and comradery. 

Please park in the lot across the street. The building can be difficult to locate as the doors are unmarked. In order to gain entrance to the building, use the small bell to the left of the doors. A staff member will let you in.
